Health and wellbeing

Feeling good about yourself and increasing health and mobility are important aspects of life at Windarring. Some of the daily options range from pampering sessions, foot spas and gentle walks to celebrating special events such as Kyneton Cup Luncheon.

Creative arts

At Windarring we encourage creativity and expression through a range of art forms including drama and dance, ceramics, painting, sculpture, photography. We also have art exhibitions and performances throughout the year which are always great fun to join in.

Leisure & recreation

Being actively involved in community life is an important step towards developing independence. Our aim to have fun and learn new skills at the same time, based on your goals decide what activities will help you live a full & rewarding life.

Group activities

A range of activities provided to a group of people. These group activities provide basic skills to increase employability and to transition to independent living options. Most of our learning activities are done together as a group because it’s more fun to learn with friends!

Individual Support

Based on your goals, individual supports can provide specific staffing and resources to meet your goals. This support can be provided in your home or in the community.

Windarring is proud to be a registered National Disability Insurance provider offering and delivering quality supports across many areas to clients in the Macedon Ranges, Mt Alexander, and Greater Bendigo. As a registered provider of NDIS participants can rest easy knowing that quality safeguards have been met and Windarring has proven to be able to provide high quality supports and services maximising desired outcomes for participants. If you are a person with a disability and under the age of 65 you may want to join the NDIS but you will need to meet certain access requirements. Once you have an NDIS plan, Windarring Intake staff can help you choose supports that will enrich your life and help you to achieve your goals. Windarring will provide you with a Formal Service agreement to ensure there is a shared understanding of what supports will be delivered and how and when they will be delivered. Once your Service Agreement has been signed Windarring will create a Service Booking on the NDIS Portal for the agreed amount detailing the type of services, dates of supports and funding to be allocated to Windarring for services given. Alternatively, Windarring can forward invoices and evidence to your nominated Financial Intermediary. If your circumstances change and you wish to change the level of supports in your service agreement, Windarring staff can help you with choosing different options.
