Our Windarring Kyneton community is active, creative and always busy enjoying. The range of activities provided mainly focuses on lifestyle, independence, art and craft leisure, recreation, and health & fitness. The success of these activities is largely attributed to the incredible team of staff and volunteers. Our Windarring Castlemaine community is active, engaged in many programs and always busy. We currently provide a service to about 30 clients who participate in group funded activities and clients who are engaged in community participation. The range of activities provided mainly focuses on lifestyle, independence, leisure, recreation, woodwork, art and craft, respite and health and fitness. The success of these activities is largely attributed to the incredible team of staff and volunteers. Their hard work, dedication and great partnerships with community groups and other organisations are major factors contributing to our achievements.
Our emphasis has been on our commitment to a person-centred focus, basing our support on what the clients want in their life and advocating for service users. This has been made possible through open communication with the client, families and carers, and clients’ key workers.

Gisborne has a “mini” Emporium. It is a n opportunity for clients to learn how to upcycle, set up stock displays, interaction with customer and learn money handling skills.

Bendigo
Bendigo Windarring is located at For Street Golden Square in the old YCW footy club rooms. This location gives our clients easy access to the walking tracks around Bendigo and a fully functional oval right out the front door. Windarring Bendigo has just started the adventure of its own Emporium which clients are encouraged to become involved in.

Bendigo Emporium
It is a great opportunity for clients to work in the shop with staff and learn some new skills in a relaxed, retail setting, while enjoying meeting and chatting to customers.
The Emporium is open Monday – Friday 10am- 2pm
Bendigo Recycling
We recycle clothes to improve the recovery and recycling of unwanted clothing and household goods in the Bendigo region. A large proportion of valuable household resources are lost to landfill.
Windarring aims to stop this waste and turn these resources into jobs for people with a disability. The program provides jobs and income for local people with disabilities. On average
