Vicki has over 25 years’ experience in leading health, welfare and community based organisations. Vicki has worked in a variety of positions in WA, NT, NSW, QLD and now Victoria. Vicki’s roles have included working in Aboriginal services, general practice, community health, mental health and family violence.
Phil Walsh Bendigo
Phil has worked in the disability field for 18 years in various roles including support worker, house supervisor at DHS houses, day services coordinator and for the previous 6 years before Windarring was a day services manager. Outside of work he enjoys family time (has 2 daughters) and spending time with friends. He is also a passionate Collingwood supporter.
Castlemaine Team Leader
Starting as a keen volunteer in 2009, Kim joined Windarring staff early 2010. Kim previously worked in family businesses and for 10 years at Malmsbury Youth Justice Centre in several roles.
Currently Kim is job-sharing the Team Leader role at Castlemaine day service. The current roles include: direct client support, recreation and coordinating the Under 18s holiday, respite and monthly outings. Also supports the adult holiday program.
Kim finds it very rewarding making a difference in people life’s.
She is a big animal lover and a strong believer that we all deserve the best opportunity to have a safe, happy and fun filled life.
Castlemaine Team Leader
Chris commenced her career as a nurse and later worked as a youth worker. Chris joined Windarring in 2002, working across various sites. In addition to direct support, Chris is currently job-sharing the Team Leader role at Castlemaine. Chris trained as a Communication Co-ordinator through the Loddon Mallee Communication Access Network some years ago. This has been extremely useful in supporting people with complex communication needs.
Operations Manager – Australian Disability Enterprises and Microbusiness
Peter has worked in the Disability Field for 38 years. A teacher by trade Peter commenced his career teaching young Adults basic literacy and numeracy, before changing his job profile to engage people in community activities as a Recreation Officer. With over 30 years in senior management roles, Peter has led teams in Day Programs, Accommodation Services, and Employment Options at a number of different Agencies. Peter brings a wealth of knowledge to Windarring and looks forward to assisting in the journey of ‘good to great.’
Kyneton Team Leader
Wendy has worked at Windarring for the last four Years as a support worker. Wendy has worked in the Disability Industry for most of her adult life and has been involved through volunteering since she was 14. Wendy also has worked as a youth leader for disadvantaged young adults and worked in a variety of roles from managerial to support worker within the Disability Sector in the UK before moving to Australia.
Respite Team Leader
John has over 20 years of experience in the disability field. John started his career off with Community services Victoria then onto managing residentials in Victoria and Queensland later returning back to Victoria to take on the role of support worker here at Windarring. Ten years on, John has worked his way through to the position of Community living respite team leader.
Chief Finance Officer
Joti joined the Windarring team as CFO in 2019. She has a broad range of experience working in private practice and public health as a qualified Financial Accountant. She is currently completing her Chartered Accountant qualification.
Joti leads the Finance & Intake/Claims team and enjoys working with dedicated staff who value team work and opportunity for growth.
Outside of work, Joti maintains an active lifestyle spending plenty of time outdoors, hiking, camping and traveling parts of the world. She is also an avid Melbourne Storms supporter #purplepride
Carley joins our Finance team with 10 years’ experience in Small Business Accounting and is currently completing a Bachelor degree in Commerce. Carley loves to learn new things and work in a team. Outside of work and family commitments, Carley lives in her vegetable and herb garden whenever possible.
Acting Team Leader for Gisborne
Cameron has been involved in disability for over 10years in various roles initially as a volunteer,
support worker, Team Leader, and Day Service Manager prior to working at Windarring.
Outside of work, Cameron enjoys singing, playing guitar, camping and is a passionate fan of the North Melbourne football club.
