1. To co-operate with State, Federal and Local Government to facilitate access to services by Disabled people to generic and specific services.
2. To establish and manage a range of services for people with disabilities. To provide/enhance services to people with disabilities with any fundraising proceeds that ensues from such enterprises.
3. To shape the services to the individual needs and goals of participants.
4. Such programs and services will:
a). Promote the involvement of participants in their local community through maximizing integration.
b). Provide opportunities for participants to reach goals and enjoy lifestyles, which are valued by the community at large.
c). Be accountable to participants, caregivers, funding bodies and the community.
5. To respect and protect individual participant’s rights to privacy and confidentiality.
6. To establish mechanisims whereby participants contribute to the planning and operation of these services and to the policy and program development.
7. To establish for participants adequate internal grievance procedures and access to other relevant external grievance procedures.
8. To provide access to advocacy support to ensure meaningful participation in these processes.
9. To extend to caregivers of people with a disability and the community at large information and consultation to enhance an understanding to the needs of people with a disability in terms of the above objectives.
